This is found at the shipwreck.

You'll be on the shipwreck when you see it.

You'll be out in the sunlight.

You'll be looking downward.

This is toward the rear of the shipwreck.

It is similar to at least one other shipwreck environmental puzzle.

Walk onto the shipwreck. Walk all the way to the back, turn right and look downward. You'll find dark gashes in the metal.

Walk around a bit and orient yourself correctly to find a circular starting point for a path. Easy!
